LOVE these!

Review by Amy Mcfarland, 2010-02-12

My son has had his Tag reader for about four months now, and this is by far his favorite "book" to use with his pen. They're durable, heavyweight cards, tied together with a clip at the top, which is a huge plus so I never have to worry about cards all over the floor. Each one has a few fun facts about the animal, along with pictures. They're educational in a fun way - my son (3) loves to tell me about what he has learned about the penguins and turtles. I think the land mammals cards are just a little more fun, but these are a fantastic addition to the Tag library!

Feeding the Animal Addiction

Review by Lisa Hernandez, 2010-01-21

My son loves animals. We go to the zoo all the time. So this is a great subsitute for him when it's freezing and snowy! Plus, it teaches him things that is unique and not always posted at the zoo. That, and not all zoos have sea cucumbers and hammerheads. He hasn't gotten into the games yet, it requires more focus than what he wants to put forth at the moment. He loves to hear the sounds that each animal makes, and the beautiful colors. How could you go wrong with images and facts from the National Geographic?!?!

Love these! They need more variety!

Review by Roderic Rinehart, 2010-01-15

We got both the land and sea animals, absolutely love both, and think they are well executed, high quality, and lots of fun.

Highly recommended as a teacher and a parent.

Great Product

I bought the activity cards for my grandsons (ages 5 & 3) They love the cards and love the tag reader. Both are reading above their age group.

Great Addition to Tag Library!

Review by M. Pearson, 2009-02-12

My 3.5 year old daughter loves going through this set of well-designed, informative cards with her Tag reading pen, and then later she'll repeat to me something she's learned, like, "Hey Mom, did you know that sea turtles lay their eggs at night to protect them from predators?" It's really cute and entertains her for a long time during "quiet time" while her sister is napping in the afternoon. The cards seem quite durable -- made of heavyweight paper and are linked at the top so they can't get lost. Each bird or sea creature has two cards with nice photographs and probably three or four pieces of information to be gleaned by the child. And there are a ton of interesting ones -- probably 40 animals or so? She has actually taught me a few things that she has learned from these cards! A nice complement to the fictional books in the rest of the line...
